In addition to daily onsite redundant external backup and fault tolerance, MDE also provides secure weekly offsite backup using the latest in information security. Your practice management data and general office documents are transferred via SSH-2/SFTP-3 in an encrypted password-protected state to our secure servers.

 

In the event of disaster, MDE, in most cases, can have you back up and running in as little as 2 hours due to events such as hardware failure or data corruption.

 

MDE also can provide a loaner server that can be temporarily installed with an instance of your practice management system to get you up and running until we can get your machines restored and back to operation. Disaster Recovery is included as part of the MDE IT Monitoring & Maintenance Program listed under Managed IT Services.
